Failure is often a difficult word to share and discuss in many circles. Failure as an attribute is not welcomed by many people and institutions. The English dictionary WordNet explains failure in six different ways; as an act that fails; an event that does not accomplish its intended purpose; lack of success; a person with a record of failing i.e. someone who loses consistently; loss of ability to function normally; an unexpected omission.  As we go through life in our various spheres we experience failure in different ways.  The media has failed us a number of ways and times. The positive and good things happening in our society have time and again been given a blackout or less airtime through mentions, broadcasting and print. Where we believe the media should act as an agent of hope they have done the opposite. Bias and selective reporting and less important issues that do not touch the real and heavy issues that affect as a society, the media has given a blind eye to it.
