Healthy resolution

Each year comes with its own unique measure of health demands. Some wind up being passing fad diets or a mirage of what we imagine to do, while others prove surprisingly on point. The key to healthy living is knowing which demands are worth your time and effort. To that end, various ways on how to stay healthy throughout the year is prudent to follow. Whether it involves running through a rugged terrain in the neighbourhood or across the county, fun runs have it right: Fun run is an ultimate motivator and booster to good health, according to Edward L. Deci, PhD, a motivational researcher and professor of psychology at the University of Rochester. People who work out for the pure joy of working out rather than for a result actually stick with workouts longer and reap better results, he says.

Both girls and boys just want to have fun and playground workouts are designed to help them have just that. As adults, majority just don't play enough. Play is good for body and mind. These workouts give us an opportunity to let loose and explore new ways of burning calories while having fun. With bars for climbing, ropes for pulling, and platforms for jumping, playground workouts strengthen your entire body through natural, multi-joint exercises to improve your fitness both in and out of the gym.

Eating healthy and exercising impacts our health in that with proper exercise and nutrition, one can control, manage or completely avoid 60-70% of illnesses such as heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, obesity, high cholesterol, colon cancer, breast cancer, stroke, heart attack, arthritis, etc according to a health and fitness expert. Working out improves ones confidence and self-esteem in that it aids you in getting better sleep and giving you more energy and stamina throughout the day. Exercising slows down the aging process. A healthy lifestyle builds and maintains healthy bones, muscles and joints while simultaneously increasing ones immune system. The health and fitness expert continues to assert that being healthy isn’t just a lack of illness, it’s a positive balance between body, mind and soul. In order for one’s social life to affect his/her life in a positive way, one need to create a healthy environment to socialize in. Socialize in a physically friendly environment like walks in the park, meeting in an exercise facility for biking, hiking, volleyball or tennis are some of the suggestions that he puts forward. “Surround yourself with people who believe in healthy lifestyle and encourage your friends to join you. If you need to meet in a restaurant or a bar, choose healthy foods and low calorie drinks to stay on track,” he says.
